Vendor Advisory Committee

Meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10 a.m.

This committee is made up of individuals from the vendor community who provide services to individuals served by this Regional Center.  It provides information to the Board of Directors to effect changes in policy that are beneficial to the delivery of services to the population it serves and conducts public presentations to help familiarize vendors with policies and procedures which effect the delivery services. 

Community Relations/Legislative Advisory Committee

Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

The goal of the committee is to inform the community of the needs of persons with developmental disabilities by assisting and planning in the coordination of public relations and public education events. The committee also reviews pertinent legislation and sends recommendations to the full Board for approval as to the position the Regional Center should take regarding critical issues.          

Executive/Finance Committee

Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:15 p.m.

This committee is made up of the Officers of the Board.  This committee shall exercise powers on behalf of the Board of Directors between regular Board meetings, with the exception of certain areas specified in the bylaws.

Strategic Development Committee

Meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

This committee shall be responsible for the recruitment, screening and selection of candidates for the Board of Directors consistent with laws, regulations, and the Bylaws.  The committee shall recommend its selections for any vacancy on the Board and committee appointments. The committee is also responsible for ongoing Board training and strategic planning. The committee will propose strategic development and policy action to the full Board for approval.

Advisory Committee of Individuals Served and Their Families

Meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

This committee is concerned with all aspects of services provided to the individuals served and families of the regional center.  This involves both the direct services of program coordination as well as the services other agencies provide.  This committee makes recommendations to improve the quality of services.

Board of Directors Meeting

Meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:15 p.m.

Each regional center is governed by a Board made up of volunteers from the community. The Board of Directors sets policy and direction for the regional center.
