SGPRC ADU Housing Project 2024
The Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a detached permanent dwelling unit located on an unused portion of an acre of lot that already was being used for a specialized residential facility. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath ADU provides approximately 1200 SF of living space. This unit is set up to serve two separate tenants. One of the bathrooms is an accessible bathroom for any tenants with a physical disability. The development of an ADU meets the affordable housing need identified in SG/PRC’s survey. The ADU was built and will be managed by Brillant Corners, A Housing Development Organization. Since the already acquired lot was of ample size, the ADU allows for privacy and separation from the other dwelling on the lot. The existing concrete circular driveway was utilized to provide functioning and convenient parking for potential tenant and the guests.
