SG/PRC believes in the value of NCI, and we are committed to using the survey results to continually improve how we provide services that are meaningful to the people we serve and that are aligned with SG/PRC’s mission and vision.
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has contracted with State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) to implement the National Core Indicator (NCI) Surveys, and California legislation requires SCDD to conduct these Family Surveys (W&I Code 4571-4572) with individuals and families served by the Regional Centers.
The information is gathered by surveying individuals with developmental disabilities and their families about their satisfaction with the services they receive and their overall quality of life.
