SG/PRC Board of Directors

Our Regional Center is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of 9–15 members who represent the diverse communities we serve. The Board plays an important role in setting the direction and priorities for SG/PRC while ensuring we remain focused on supporting over 18,000 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

At least half of our Board members are individuals who receive services or family members of someone who does. Their lived experience ensures that the input of those closest to our services are directly involved in shaping the decisions that guide our work.

Our Board also includes community members, advocates, and service providers who are deeply connected to our communities and committed to strengthening opportunities and services for people with developmental disabilities. This range of perspectives supports thoughtful governance and informed decision-making.

The Board of Directors and the SG/PRC Leadership Team work closely together and have built strong partnerships grounded in collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to the community we serve. We are very active both locally and statewide and believe that when we come together, anything is possible.

Our Board and its committees’ welcome volunteers who are passionate about improving services and expanding opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Board members receive training, support, and mentorship to help them succeed in their roles and contribute meaningfully. You will not be expected to do this work alone—guidance and support are always available.

Because Board composition is guided by state requirements, there may be times when we highlight specific qualifications or perspectives we are seeking.

If you are interested in joining the Board, serving on a committee, or recommending someone who may be a great fit, we encourage you to connect with us and learn more about this opportunity to help shape the future of our community.
